What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I hold strength in my listening skills which helps with providing patient-centered care, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs and goals. My clear communication and motivational skills help guide patients through their recovery, while my deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology ensures accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

Favourite Conditions to Treat:
Shoulders and Knees
Shoulder conditions can be quite complex which makes it so rewarding once the benefits of treatment and rehabilitation help patients. Similarly, implementing individualized rehabilitation for patients dealing with knee injuries is rewarding work as you can get patients back to what they love.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
Staying active with yoga, pilates and, more recently, climbing! I also love to spend time with people I love and get to know new people.

What would be your personal motto?
Empowering others through movement, one step at a time.

Who is someone you admire and why?
Lhakpa Sherpa- a Nepali mountain climber who was the first woman to summit Mount Everest and survive. She has now submitted Mount Everest ten times, being the first woman to break this number and doing so at 48 years old. It was inspiring to watch her documentary Mountain Queen and learn how she was able to achieve this despite many struggles, such as being turned away from being a sherpa due to being a woman. Her mental resilience with climbing as well as the challenges in her personal life was so incredible to watch. Doing it for the girls!

Your most-outstanding achievement:
Moving to Japan by myself!
